Get Back To Health

Online Health Coaching for People Over 50

You probably already know what you should be doing. The challenge is doing it consistently.

Over 50 & Strong helps you build the strength, fitness and consistency to stay capable as you age. The Get Back To Health 12-Week Coaching Programme combines personalised exercise, nutrition, recovery, behaviour change and daily accountability into one practical plan built around your life.

The real problem

Knowing What to Do Isn’t the Problem

Most clients already know they should exercise, eat better, sleep well and manage stress. The difficulty is not a lack of information. It is implementation — maintaining those behaviours when work, family, travel, stress and tiredness intervene.

You don’t need more information. You need a system that helps you follow through.

Your approach

Health and Strength Coaching Built Around You

Get Back To Health is not an off-the-shelf fitness programme. Your exercise, nutrition, daily actions and coaching strategy are built around your health, current capabilities, lifestyle and goals, with personal coaching and accountability throughout the twelve weeks.

The objective isn’t to train like a 25-year-old. It’s to build a body that continues working for you as you get older.

The two systems

CapabilitySpan and WISDOM

The what

CapabilitySpan

Lifespan is how long you live. CapabilitySpan is how long you remain capable of doing the things that matter to you. Your plan is built across four domains:

  • Strength — Muscle, joint health and the capability behind everyday life.
  • Cardiovascular Fitness — Stamina, conditioning and resilience for sustained effort.
  • Nutrition — An eating approach that fits your week, travel and preferences.
  • Recovery — Sleep, stress and rest built into the plan, not bolted on.
The how

WISDOM

WISDOM addresses the consistency and behaviour side. It develops the six components that let you follow through when work, stress and life get in the way:

  • WWillingness
  • IIdentity
  • SSimple
  • DDesign
  • OOvercoming Obstacles
  • MMindset

The best plan is useless if you cannot consistently follow it.

The Consistency Curve™

Results come from what you consistently do.

Knowing what to do is rarely the problem. The challenge is building exercise, nutrition and recovery behaviours that survive busy weeks, setbacks and real life.

  1. 0–40%

    Knowing, Not Doing

  2. 40–60%

    Building Momentum

  3. 60–80%

    Meaningful Change

  4. 80–90%

    Strong & Capable

    The Target Zone

  5. 90–100%

    Exceptional Consistency

The 12-week coaching programme is designed to help you move from knowing what to do towards consistently doing it. WISDOM helps you build sustainable behaviours through the Build → Strengthen → Own It progression, while the Consistency Curve describes how reliably you put them into practice.

The practical target is 80–90% — Strong & Capable. 100% isn’t the goal. Resilience is.

How it’s delivered

Online Coaching in the UK and United States

The programme is delivered online to clients in the UK and the US. You receive personalised plans, coaching calls to review progress and solve problems, and ongoing personal support and accountability between sessions — not a group class or a generic workout plan.

Your next step

Start With Your Free Health & Capability Assessment

The Health & Capability Assessment looks at Strength, Cardiovascular Fitness, Nutrition and Recovery. It identifies your strengths and where focused changes may make the biggest difference — giving you a clear starting point with no obligation.

If it looks like I can help, we’ll use a Discovery Call to discuss your results, goals and challenges, whether we are a good fit, how the 12-week programme would work for you and the investment required before you make any decision. You can also book a call directly if you would rather talk first.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I work with an online health coach if I live in the United States?

Yes. The Get Back To Health programme is delivered online to clients in the UK and the United States. Coaching calls, daily accountability and support all happen remotely, so your location does not change what you receive.

Is health coaching the same as personal training?

No. Personal training typically focuses on exercise sessions. Health coaching covers exercise, nutrition, recovery, habits and behaviour change together, with accountability between sessions rather than only during them. The aim is consistency you can maintain on your own.

Is strength training suitable for people over 50?

Yes. Strength training is one of the most useful things you can do as you get older. It helps preserve muscle, supports joint health and maintains the capability behind everyday life. Your programme is scaled to your current fitness, experience and any relevant history, and adapted as you progress.

Do I need to be fit before starting?

No. The starting point is wherever you are now. Your plan is built around your current fitness, health and available time, and progresses from there. You do not need to already be fit to begin.

What if I already know what exercise and diet I should be following?

Most clients already know the broad strokes. The problem is rarely a lack of information; it is implementation and maintaining those behaviours when work, family, travel, stress and tiredness intervene. Coaching gives you a system, structure and accountability to follow through consistently.

How does the Health & Capability Assessment help?

The Health & Capability Assessment looks at Strength, Cardiovascular Fitness, Nutrition and Recovery. It identifies where you are already strong and where focused changes may make the biggest difference, giving you a clear starting point rather than a generic plan.
